Bioclear Part III: Treatment of Wear cases with Complex Rehabilitation including the Direct Bioclear Dhal

Aims and objectives:

The treatment of worn broken down teeth can be challenging with traditional techniques and require frequent repair and maintenance. We discuss the management of advanced wear of anterior and posterior teeth through a selection of clinical cases using Bioclear restorations alone and in combination with indirect restorations.

The webinar talks in detail on how the Bioclear Method was used for treatment of both erosive and attrition cases using Bioclear restorations and the direct Bioclear anterior Dhal. This webinar includes direct Bioclear Crowns using “injection moulded’ with 3M Filtek materials, and the use of the anatomic Mylar matrices.

Learning Aims, Objectives and Anticipated Outcomes:

  • Review of the 5 Pillars of the Bioclear Method.
  • Discover how to open the OVD with direct Bioclear restorations including the Bioclear Dahl.
  • Understand how to rebuild worn anterior teeth creating restorations with invisible margins and a mirror-like finish.
  • To have an understanding of anterior Bioclear Matrix selection.
  • To have an understanding of heating and injection molding with 3M Filtek restorative composite materials.

This CPD course meets the criteria for the GDC’s development outcomes A, B, C and D.
