Managing caries and motivating change, part 2: Motivational interviewing
How do you motivate your patients? Discover how caries risk assessments and motivational interviewing tactics can help you connect with…
Aims and objectives:
This second of the Bioclear webinar series, introduces the principles of the Bioclear Method for management of fractures and cracks.
We discuss the management of traumatic fractures of anterior teeth – treatment that can be challenging with traditional techniques.
The webinar talks in detail on how the Bioclear Method has rebuilt the model for how dentists can prepare posterior teeth and manage cracks in teeth, so as to turn both the tooth and the restoration into compression. This includes the direct Cuspal Overlay using “injection moulded’ with 3M Filtek One Bulkfill, and the use of the anatomic Evolve posterior Mylar matrices.
Included in the restoration process is the production of good inter-dental contact points – something that many dentists struggle to consistently provide.
This is a very relevant area to general dentistry as we see more cracked and fractured teeth in practice.
