Managing caries and motivating change, part 2: Motivational interviewing
How do you motivate your patients? Discover how caries risk assessments and motivational interviewing tactics can help you connect with…
In this, the first of two Bioclear webinars, the Bioclear Method and it’s predictability with Class II restorations is reviewed, as well as exploring more complex clinical cases including worn posterior teeth.
It reviews the 5 Pillars of the Bioclear Method, including the importance of modern compressive cavity design, selection of the correct height of Evolve matrices, and techniques to allow predictable Class II contacts. It also includes discussion of cuspal protection using direct Bioclear Overlays, and rehabilitation of wear cases using the Bioclear Method.
This is relevant to general practice as many dentists report difficulty in predictably being able to achieve a Class II contact, and we see more cracked and worn teeth in practice. The webinar will also review the suitability of 3M™ Filtek™ Bulk Fill flowable Restorative and 3M™ Filtek™ One Bulk Fill Restorative for these restorations.
