About Dr. Rajeev Thaper
A graduate from Govt. Dental College, Madras, he hails from a family of six dental surgeons having a 54 year old multi-specialty practice in Jaipur with 11 operatories and in-house dental laboratory for cast partials and ceramics, including the fabrication of Zirconia prosthesis. They truly believe and practice the interdisciplinary approach to dental treatment.
Dr. Rajeev Thaper has been in clinical practice since 1989. He is known for his unique, innovative approach in many conventional procedures and this quest to learn more keeps him updated with the latest developments in dentistry around the globe. He is passionate about Smile Designing with ceramic veneers for all ages including the pediatric and the geriatric age groups. He is certified by the University of Minnesota in administering N20 to dental patients and has introduced equipment for Conscious Sedation into their practice. He has done extensive research in Pediatric Endodontics, Pediatric Cosmetic Dentistry and Stainless Steel Crowns. He is a Professor in the Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry in Jaipur Dental College and has conducted numerous workshops on both these subjects nationally and internationally, the most recent being a key note speaker at the 1st Malaysian Association of Pediatric Dentistry held at Johor Bahru, Malaysia in 2011. He also presented his clinical findings on TCP during an oral presentation at the AADR/IADR meet held at Tampa, USA in March 2012. Other than Pediatric dentistry, he has a special interest in Prosthodontics and he is a fellow member of the Society of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Thaper is also widely known for his philanthropic activities for the underprivileged and he is running an Oral Health Program for the Govt. Primary School, Jaipur.
