About Dr. Barbara Cerny

Dr. Cerny is a Global Scientific Affairs Manager at 3M Company in Seefeld, Germany, where she has been employed since 2007. Her professional focus has been in the areas of the direct and indirect restorative procedure including chairside digital, implantology, and local anesthetics. She is a key member of new product development initiatives, strategic plans, professional education and opinion leader strategies.

She received her dental degree at Charles University in Pilsen, Czech Republic with post-graduate training in Pediatric Dentistry and Implantology. Prior to joining 3M Company, she was an assistant dentist in various dental practices in Germany.

Dr. Cerny has lectured worldwide and has published numerous articles, research papers and scientific abstracts on the topics of direct and indirect restorations, digital and traditional impressioning, adhesives, curing lights and more.
