Using 3M™ Scotchbond™ Universal Plus Adhesive, 3M™ Elipar™ DeepCure-S LED Curing Light, 3M™ Filtek™ Universal Restorative and 3M™ Sof-Lex™ Diamond Polishing System.
Patient presented a previous restoration with wear and a fractured restoration. Patient was unsatisfied with the clinical aspect of the smile.
The treatment plan consisted in restoring the teeth in a simple technique, following the adequate shape and function. Considering the monochromatic aspect of the teeth to be restored, a resin composite with universal opacity 3M™ Filtek™ Universal Restorative was selected, tailoring shape and contour to reestablish the aimed esthetic expected by the patient.
Results: Patient was very satisfied with the obtained results.
Initial Situation: Tooth showing the wear on the resin composite and adjacent tooth with fractured/chipped restoration.

After etching for 15 seconds, rinsed and gently dried, 3M™ Scotchbond™ Universal Plus Adhesive was rubbed in for 20 seconds, air-dried for 5 seconds and light cured with 3M™ Elipar™ DeepCure-S LED Curing Light for 10 seconds.
Application of 3M™ Filtek™ Universal Restorative – shade A1 and light curing following IFU. For the easy handling and biosafety, capsules presentation were chosen.
Lines were drawn with graphite as a reference for the surface texture. Observe the transitional line angles (proximal area) and the lines for secondary anatomy.
