Clinical Case: First molar failing restoration

Using 3M™ Filtek™ Supreme Ultra Universal Restorative and 3M™ Scotchbond™ Universal Plus Adhesive.

About the Case

The patient presented for an exam after 6 years with no chief complaint other than making sure he was in good oral health. Clinical examination revealed a cavitated carious lesion in relation to a failing occluso-lingual composite in tooth 26.

The treatment plan consisted of replacing the failing composite restoration using the 3M™ Scotchbond™ Universal Plus Adhesive and 3M™ Filtek™ Supreme Ultra Universal Restorative, Shade A1B. After total isolation with rubber dam, the caries were removed and the procedures related to the adhesive were completed. The composite material was placed and polished using the 3M™ Sof-Lex™ Polishing System.

Refer to Instructions for Use (IFU) for complete product information. Results may vary.
