Brain Boost 2024​: SIMPLIFIED SHADING – INTUITIVE SHADE SELECTION & THE MODERN APPROACH TO NON-CARIOUS CERVICAL LESIONS​

Valentin Vervack graduated from Ghent University in 2013. He started working in several private practices where he developed a love for restorative and aesthetic dentistry aided by microscope magnification. He stayed active at the university and continued his studies until acquiring his PhD. In 2018 Valentin was one of the winners of the StyleItaliano BulkOne contest and since then he has been intrigued by their philosophy. He teaches courses in restorative and digital dentistry and has been working with several dental firms as KOL.​

Dr. Vaelntin Verwvack will explain the 3 dimensions of colour (hue, chroma, value) and teach you the different influences on shade selection. ​He will give you useful tips & tricks on the shade selection and will show you the blending effect of composites. He will show you his step-by-step simplified shade technique by using the brand-new 3M Filtek Easy Match. ​

Dr Tosco graduated in Dentistry at the Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio, Madrid, Spain. He obtained his PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the Polytechnic University of Marche, Ancona, Italy. Presently research fellow at the same University under the supervision of Prof. Angelo Putignano and Prof. Giovanna Orsini. He is dedicated to Endodontics, Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. Author and co-author of over 29 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals. Speaker at national and international conferences in Endodontics, Restorative Dentistry and Dental Materials.​

You can look forward to the modern approach to non-carious cervical lesions. Dr. Vincenzo Tosco will provide you a research perspective and a bonding strategy for sclerotic dentin.
