Bioclear Method – A Predictable Solution for Deep Marginal Adaption and Crack/Cuspal Protection with Direct Composite Cuspal Overlays

This second of the two Bioclear webinars reviews some relevant points from the 2021 Posterior Composite webinar, and addresses some more complex points relating to direct posterior composite restorations.

It reviews modern compressive cavity design, and the selection of the posterior anatomic Biofit matrices. It introduces the new Evolve posterior Mylar matrices and techniques which help to enable predictable marginal adaption for deep cavities. It also includes discussion of cuspal protection cases using the direct Bioclear Overlay. This allows dentists to directly strengthen and restore fractured or cracked teeth in a predictable and efficient manner. This is a very relevant area to general dentistry as we see more cracked and fractured teeth in practice.

The webinar will also review the suitability of 3M™ Filtek™ Bulk Fill flowable Restorative and 3M™ Filtek™ One Bulk Fill Restorative for these restorations.
