Alternatives to Amalgam

This webinar will provide an overview of Solventum restorative materials that could be used as suitable alternatives to an amalgam restoration, especially in the posterior.

With the use of amalgam being phased out for certain patients, dental professionals have been required to look and learn to use alternatives. There is currently no other material available that behaves; looks; or has the physical properties of amalgam and it is highly unlikely that there ever will be. However, leaps forward in glass ionomer and composite technology have moved us closer to having materials that are quick, easy to use, and have the appropriate physical properties to be used in teeth.
